Samsung Demonstrates Video Service on TD-SCDMA Phone

Video phone and PS384K data download services and were successfully demonstrated on Samsung's TD-SCDMA SGH-T560 and SGH-T550 mobile phones, using Datang and TD Tech's network. The SGH-T550 is said to be only TD-SCDMA handset currently video-capable, and is closer to commercial norms for power consumption than other TD-SCDMA terminals developed up to the present. Currently, there are more than 100 technicians in Samsung engaged in the research and development of TD-SCDMA.
